Waypoints to History

There are so many sites in Alaska with historical significance. This strand will focus on locating, researching and mapping these sites, utilizing challenge-based learning. Teachers will collaborate in creating a working model for students across Alaska to document local historical sites. Teachers will investigate Prince of Wales’ historical sites and build this viral project with interviews, podcasts, geocaching type activities, iMovies, web pages and other online tools.
