Traditional Use of Resources

Local cultural teacher, Debbie Head, will model how to get your students into the field learning and documenting the local resources and their traditional uses. Teachers will help create a project/unit where students can locate and document the resources in their own local regions. Debbie has presented her highly skilled cedar basket weaving at the Smithsonian Institute and continues to provide high quality cultural experiences for Craig’s students and community members. Using applications that are available on your Mac laptops, you will be creating podcasts, web pages and setting up wikis for students to share their knowledge.
