Probing Into Science

Alan Nakagawa, award winningscience and technology educator from Hawaii, will engage teachers in hands-on activities. This strand will be to develop relevant educationalactivities and lessons that will inspire and educate through experiential learning activities on the beaches and streams in areas surrounding Craig, Alaska.The teachers willgain skills to engage students in science, math and technology using inquiry-based learning.The focus will be on outdoor fun, teamwork while learning to use probe ware, satellite imagery, GPS, and online
tools.
